Hai Duong Geography

Hai Duong City is the center of economic, technical, educational, scientific, healthcare and services of Hai Duong province.

Geography
Hai Duong is located in the center of the province, to the north by Nam Sach district, east of Kim Thanh and Thanh Ha district, west of Cam Giang District, Gia Loc District to the south, southeast bordering districts Thanh Ha and Tu Ky. Hai Duong City, close to Hanoi 57 kilometers east from the city of Hai Phong, 45 km to the west. The area is 7138.60 hectares city, with a population: 253,893 people (2009) [2]
The big river city of Thai Binh river passing through the middle of town, in the south there are bars, Thai Binh river tributaries. Kinh Thay River in eastern delimitation Ai Quoc commune (Hai Duong) and Laiwu commune (Kim Thanh). In addition, there are air-conditioned pool: Bach and Dawn, is the largest lake of the city.
